Cavalry - 'Everything'

'Everything' is the new release from emerging Merseyside band Cavalry. This song joins 'Soak' and 'An understanding' with the bands previous releases.

Upon first listen to this song I found that elements of the band 'Amber Run' style ran through, the delicate tones of the vocals, accompanied by the acoustic strums all leading up to something much bigger.
Halfway through the record the acoustic slow mellow tones change to a loud and electric version which seems as though the situation of the song has become desperate.
With lyrics like "Please don't turn back" and "Your happiness means everything but you have it now" the lyrics are perfectly put together and the sheer emotion from the lead singers vocals really pull the song together making it a spectacular track for an upcoming band from the north west.

These guys have previously gained attention from Huw Stephens (Radio One), Janice Long (Radio 2) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music). They also have a very busy few upcoming months with festivals and gigs all over that they are set to play.
